Our classmate, David Thiel passed away at home in Lincoln on June 13, 2022. He was born on June 7, 1952 in North Platte, to Glenn and Elizabeth Thiel and moved to Lincoln in 1955. He was a proud graduate of Lincoln Southeast High School in 1971.

He married Cheri Summerer in 1974 and had two sons and a daughter; Daniel, Dennis and Christel. He ran Anchor Insurance Agency and also worked for the Nebraska Department of Insurance. As we all know, he was active in the Community in Church, Choirs, and, of course, photography. We remember him particularly at our 50th reunion, where we enjoyed reconnecting with him and all of our other classmates. He really got a kcik out of setting up our class picture on the staircase leading to our ballroom. He was always fun to be around. 

He will be greatly missed by our class.
