Linda Misle Shrier, 73, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Linda grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Abram and Helen Misle, and spent most of her life in Omaha. She shared 46 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Howard Shrier, and was a devoted mother to Jason Levy, Sandra Shrier and Samantha Shrier.

Linda’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident throughout her life. She built a successful career in executive recruiting, joined her family in the automotive business, and continued to pursue new ideas as an inventor.

Above all, Linda cherished her family and friends. She was incredibly selfless, always putting those she loved before herself. She gave generously of her time, her care and her love, and was always there for the people who mattered most to her. Linda was deeply loved in return and will be remembered for her generosity, loyalty and the lasting impact she had on those fortunate enough to know her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Howard; her children, Jason, Sandra and Samantha; and her sisters, Marsha Misle Haugland (Sam) and Gayle Misle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Abram and Helen Misle; and her siblings, Lynn Weiner and Howard Misle.

A private burial will be held for the family, followed by a memorial service  at Temple Israel on Friday, October 9,  at 11:30 am followed by a luncheon at 12:30 pm.
