We lost another GREAT ONE. Unassuming, kind and a Damned Good Presbyterian! We both sang in choir..( OK I tried!) and both taught in Preschool Sunday School ( again at least I tried..I was in loved with Pam's sister in law). As cupid might have it; Pam was dating what appears to be one of my fraternity brothers, to become her long time husband! Pam asked me if I would agree to invitation from Joni Knaub ( Yes Tom's sister) to their Sadie Hawkins dance. (Joni and Tom Knaub and myself used to Scuba Dive together) ...Answer: "Hell YES!" ...The four of us had a GRAND time...Wish them all the best and thank them for all the things the Tomlinsons taught me!
Dennis and I weighed about the same amount, in Junior High and/or LSE. When we got to the wrestling phase of PE, we had this "unspoken pack' that we would 'challenge', each other as we were in same 'weight class'...He would always just roll over and I would "pin" him. In those moments, I learned, and stil believe, he was the 'gentliest and humblest giant' of us all!
John as you enter into 2022 Fire Season remember to keep you zipper up, your head down and you hard hat on! You are in our prayers!!!

As we approach our 50th reunion and in prayerful thought I decided to nominate the candidate with the following credentials as the best person to organize our 50th high school reunion.
1) Should me married to the most beautiful person for the longest period of time in our Graduating class.
2) Should have live in Lincoln continually since 1971
3) Should have experience organizing such event like this and "March of Dimes"
4) Should be INTERNATIONAL president of ASHRAE and a Professor at UNL.
5) Finally have "LONG" Knowledge in the Plumbing Department
What do you think?
We have lost a lot of great ones in the US this year...Brad King was one of the greatest of them all...A humble Giant of a man.
Gael sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was the highlight of my musical career. Although it didn't last longer that high school the memories of our band trips, early morning practices and taking care of you Dad's Chinchillas in the summer never will be forgotten...He was one of the best teachers at SE.
