Dennis' Latest Interactions
Dennis and I weighed about the same amount, in Junior High and/or LSE. When we got to the wrestling phase of PE, we had this "unspoken pack' that we would 'challenge', each other as we were in same 'weight class'...He would always just roll over and I would "pin" him. In those moments, I learned, and stil believe, he was the 'gentliest and humblest giant' of us all!
Dennis was a wonderful person and muscian. We spent noon hours at LSE discussing the state of the world, and stayed connected over the years though his career, and later as his health and his vision declined. One of my now enduring treasures is the gift of his Daysteam album. He made his world a beautiful place.

Hello Classmates,
As you know from Tim's latest email, I will not be able to perform on Friday night for the Meet and Greet, as originally planned. This is due to my slow recovery from my heart surgery earlier this year. I was really hoping that I would feel good enough by this week to be able to perform and be with you on Friday night, but I'm just not there yet. This is a big disappointment to me, as I was really looking forward to playing for you and being with you. Fortunately, we have arranged to use my sound cloud page to stream most of the music that I would have been playing for you, since I can't be there in person. So at least my music will be there, even though I can't be. I will really miss being able to play for you and spend time with you on Friday. I will be thinking of you and wishing you a great reunion. Take care and hope to see you again sometime.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Vicki's passing. She and I had been friends since jr high days and had once been housemates with another friend in 1979. I saw her several times in the last few years. She had always loved my music and I saw her for the last time in March of 2018, when she came to see me play guitar at a Bodhi Imports party and bought a cd of my "Dayspring" guitar album, to replace her old wornout cassette copy she had bought back in the early 80s. She had choreographed a dance for herself and twp young girls to one of the songs on the album years ago, which they performed on the front lawn of Love Library. She was always a good friend and always a joy to see. This breaks my heart. She was a Light in our midst that will always be missed, but will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched. Safe Journey Home, dear friend.
Anything I can say about Doug as a lifelong friend seems nowhere good enough. He was truly a unique soul in the Universe and a perfect example of what every human being should strive to be. A friend to all he knew and those he had not yet met. A loving, compassionate friend, in the very truest sense of those words. There can be no one who could take his place in this life. We must all think of Doug and strive to carry on his legacy, which is beyod scope. Goodbye, my friend. You will never be forgotten.
with Love,
Dennis

I just realized that in addition to our reunion this year, I will be celebrating 50 years as a guitarist. Half a Century...and I still love to play.

She was also hired to give psychic readings in the lobby of the South Pointe Cinema during the opening weekend of M.Night Shyamalan's "The Sixth Sense".
